PAN
AM FINALS IN LAS VEGASIT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS
Monday,
November 25, 2002 SALEM,
ORE.
The PanAm Tournament Circuit 2002 season finals will be held from
December 4-8 at the Sports Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over a hundred
teams, the top paintball vendors, the major paintball media and PanAm
employees are ready to take on the finals of the 2002 season.
The
event, like the 2001 PanAm finals, will be held at The Sports Center
in Las Vegas, just moments from the strip. The Sports Center is
a 25-acre event facility specializing in corporate outings, team
building, theme parties, weddings and special events. Paintball
players will have a blast checking out the 46-foot rock-climbing
wall, the nine-hole putting green, the world-famous Slugger Stadium,
and for the ultimate in speed
the Thunderbolt Go-Karts!
The facility
has both indoor and outdoor fields that will be used for this years
tournament. All of the outdoor fields will be right next to the
Sports Center and two will be under stadium lights. All players
are asked to bring and wear kneepads, because the lighted fields
are part Astroturf over concrete and part grass. The other outdoor
fields will be in the backyard of the Sports Center on a grass surface.
The
inside of the Sports Center will house an indoor field and the vendor
area, which will be full of booths occupied by the industrys
favorite paintball companies. The group of vendors will make up
one of the largest paintball trade shows on the west coast.
PanAm
will host two special non-tournament events during the five days
of Vegas. Once again, in the spirit of Las Vegas, the PanAm will
host the one-on-one Excalibur Joust sponsored by AKALMP. Plus, as
a special treat, the PanAm will host, and Ricochet will sponsor,
a Nite Shoot paintball game, with the use of Ricochet hoppers
specially designed for glow-in-the-dark paintballs.
The
event schedule will be as follows (more details to come):
- Dec.
4-5: 10-player rookie, novice, amateur
